CRONEX High Pressure Cone, 3/4 x 1/4 Inch, A small internal valve piece that helps control and seal water flow in high-pressure plumbing, replacing older brass components - CRX0052
Product Description:
The CRONEX High Pressure Cone (3/4" x 1/4") is a small plumbing part used inside high-pressure water valves or fittings, often in systems like showers, bidets, or supply lines.
What it’s used for
This piece acts as a replacement internal component (instead of brass parts like the stem/valve). Its job is to:
- Control or regulate water flow
- Help seal the valve to prevent leaks under pressure
- Fit between different connection sizes (3/4 inch to 1/4 inch)
You’ll typically find it in:
- Shower valves
- Toilet/bidet spray lines
- Small high-pressure water control fittings
What “3/4 x 1/4 inch” means
- One side fits a 3/4-inch connection (common water supply size)
- The other fits a 1/4-inch outlet (smaller tubing or fitting)
How to connect / install it
This isn’t usually a standalone connector—you install it inside a valve or fitting. General steps:
-
Turn off the water supply
Always shut off water before working. -
Open the valve or fitting
Unscrew the existing connector or valve housing where the old brass stem/valve is. -
Remove the old part
Take out the worn brass cone/stem/valve. -
Insert the CRONEX cone
- Place it in the same orientation as the old piece
- The cone shape usually points toward the water flow or sealing seat
-
Reconnect fittings
- Attach the 3/4" side to the main supply
- Attach the 1/4" side to the smaller outlet line
- Tighten securely (hand-tight + slight wrench turn, don’t overtighten)
-
Turn water back on and test
Check for leaks and proper flow.
